Thank You to Our Key Partners:
Penske Automotive Group
Paralyzed Veterans of America proudly celebrates a decade-long partnership with long-time supporter Penske Automotive Group. Over the last decade, Penske Automotive Group has contributed nearly $10 million to PVA. This year’s donation, raised through Penske Automotive Group’s annual Service Matters campaign, will directly benefit veterans nationwide by providing the resources they need to live full and independent lives. Please visit PVA.org/PAGServes or contact a Penske Automotive Group dealership to learn more about their Service Matters campaign.
Penske Truck Leasing
A staunch supporter of veterans, Penske Truck Leasing joined PVA 10 years ago to create the #OneWay4PVA campaign, which encourages one-way rental customers to donate $1 to their rental to benefit PVA. In addition to the fundraising campaign, Penske supports the PVA Veterans Career Program, the annual PVA Gala (including hosting the 2022 Gala in Indianapolis), the National Veterans Wheelchair Games, and Paralyzed Veterans Racing through additional sponsorships and in-kind truck rentals.
Weis Markets
Capitalizing on the national coin shortage in 2020, Weis Markets added a round up campaign in expectation of further growing their already successful $1, $3, and $5 point of sale campaign. Extending their promotion to four weeks, Weis also offered volunteer opportunities to its employees and customers to get more involved with PVA.
- 154,000 Weis Market customers donated at the register during checkout in 2020
- 47-cent increase in fundraising since 2010
Food City
Food City set out to increase its donations goal in 2020 and launched a checkout campaign across all 136 of its stores spread across the Southeast. Despite the pandemic and a hurting economy, the supermarket chain experienced unprecedented volume and a willingness from customers to give when prompted at digital pin pads at checkout. Outfitted in patriotic PVA branding and empowerment messaging, Food City surpassed its fundraising goal and raised more than ever before – something the store has done repeatedly since its partnership with PVA kicked off.
- 154,000 Food City customers donated at the register during checkout in 2020
- Food City's fundraising has increased 352% since 2010
Good Ranchers
Good Ranchers the leading provider of high-quality, 100% American meat, is proud to announce its partnership with Paralyzed Veterans of America – the nation’s premier non-profit dedicated to serving Veterans with spinal cord injuries and diseases, like MS and ALS. Together, they aim to "Bring All Veterans to the Table" by providing vital support, opportunities, and resources to Veterans and their families.
As part of this partnership, Good Ranchers will donate a portion of its proceeds from every meat subscription box directly to PVA to support their mission of helping Veterans throughout every aspect of their life journey.
From day one of their injury or diagnosis, PVA ensures Veterans get the benefits they earned, the specialized healthcare they require, the accessible homes and vehicles they need, the meaningful careers they want, and more. Good Ranchers will also be sponsoring PVA events, giving a veteran discount on its product, and launching exclusive co-branded meat boxes for both Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day that will contribute extra donations to PVA to ramp up awareness of the unique issues paralyzed Veteran’s face and the crucial support PVA provides.
