PROTECTING YOUR RIGHTS

Our core mission at Paralyzed Veterans of America is helping veterans and all people with spinal cord injury and disease (SCI/D) enjoy a better quality of life — and fulfill their potential.

Through our Advocacy Program, Paralyzed Veterans offers the latest disability rights information and resources related to health, travel, housing, voting, and more. Below you’ll find specific information about the Americans with Disabilities Act and other laws that protect your rights — and the rights of all people living with a disability.

Paralyzed Veterans also advocates for people living with SCI/D through speaking out on Capitol Hill to strengthen rights and laws — and by working with federal agencies such as the Department of Justice to ensure that nondiscrimination laws are implemented and enforced.
