Premiering on September 22, 2026, PVA's new podcast, Voices of PVA, will be the definitive voice on life with a spinal cord injury or disease (SCI/D)
The podcast will be hosted by U.S. Navy SEAL veteran, Paralympian, and Editor-in-Chief of Paraplegia News (PN) magazine, Al Kovach Jr. — alongside journalist and PVA staff member Chad Stewart. The two will be delivering key insights from veterans with SCI/D, policy leaders, caregivers, researchers, and more who've navigated it all. Episodes will drop every other week.

Meet the Voices Behind PVA’s First-Ever Podcast
Meet the co-hosts of “Voices of PVA,” Paralyzed Veterans of America's first podcast on life with a spinal cord injury or disease (SCI/D).
The show will bring listeners inside the health care battles, legislative wins, and adaptive sports journeys shaping veterans' lives today.
Ahead of launch in September 2026, PVA sat down with both hosts - Al Kovach and Chad Stewart - to learn what brought them here, and what they hope the podcast means to the SCI/D community.
