Penske Automotive Group

Paralyzed Veterans of America proudly celebrates a decade-long partnership with long-time supporter Penske Automotive Group. Over the last decade, Penske Automotive Group has contributed nearly $10 million to PVA. This year’s donation, raised through Penske Automotive Group’s annual Service Matters campaign, will directly benefit veterans nationwide by providing the resources they need to live full and independent lives. Please visit PVA.org/PAGServes or contact a Penske Automotive Group dealership to learn more about their Service Matters campaign.

Weis Markets

Capitalizing on the national coin shortage in 2020, Weis Markets added a round up campaign in expectation of further growing their already successful $1, $3, and $5 point of sale campaign. Extending their promotion to four weeks, Weis also offered volunteer opportunities to its employees and customers to get more involved with PVA.

  • 154,000 Weis Market customers donated at the register during checkout in 2020
  • 47-cent increase in fundraising since 2010

Food City

Food City set out to increase its donations goal in 2020 and launched a checkout campaign across all 136 of its stores spread across the Southeast. Despite the pandemic and a hurting economy, the supermarket chain experienced unprecedented volume and a willingness from customers to give when prompted at digital pin pads at checkout. Outfitted in patriotic PVA branding and empowerment messaging, Food City surpassed its fundraising goal and raised more than ever before – something the store has done repeatedly since its partnership with PVA kicked off.

  • 154,000 Food City customers donated at the register during checkout in 2020
  • Food City's fundraising has increased 352% since 2010
