PVA OFFERS ACCELERATED CAREER TRAINING

A man using a wheelchair is working at a desk with a computer and a laptop. The room has a modern design with shelves, plants, and framed pictures. Natural light illuminates the workspace from a nearby window.

PVA's Veterans Career Program provides career and educational training to help members and their families pursue higher education and enter their desired industries.

A clean, bright hospital corridor with shiny white floors and fluorescent lighting. Glass doors line both sides, and a red fire extinguisher is visible on the left wall. The space feels sterile and modern.

PVA HELPS DESIGN NEW MEDICAL CENTER

PVA is the only Veterans organization with architects on staff who offer design help to Veterans. Our team also helps develop building codes and accessibility standards for homes, stadiums, medical centers, and structures across the U.S.

Our architects recently provided input on a new medical center being built in Louisville, VA, which is expected to be finished by Fall 2026.

PVA ADVOCATES FOR VA FUNDING

An artistic image of the American flag overlaid on a close-up of a historical figure's engraved face, set against a red, white, and blue background with stars and stripes.

Congress is back this month after a long August break, with funding for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a key issue.

We will continue to advocate for the funds needed to ensure Veterans receive their benefits and services.

PVA HOSTS HEALTHCARE SUMMIT

A woman standing on a vibrating exercise platform smiles while a man in a suit discusses the device with her. They are in a convention hall with exhibitors and attendees in the background.

A part of PVA's mission is to train medical professionals on the latest research, science, and technology for spinal cord injury and disease.

As part of its mission, PVA held its annual 4-day Healthcare Summit + Expo last month, featuring speakers, breakout sessions, and exhibitors presenting the latest innovations in SCI/D research.
