About PVA's Educational Scholarship Program
PVA’s mission is to improve the quality of life for its members and their families. Our Educational Scholarship helps achieve this goal by providing financial assistance to eligible students enrolled in accredited colleges and universities across the United States.
The 2026 scholarship application period has officially closed.
Thank you to everyone who submitted an application. The Scholarship Committee will begin the review and selection process, and applicants will be notified once decisions have been made.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a PVA member, spouse, or unmarried dependent child under age 24 (as defined by IRS dependency guidelines)
- Be a United States citizen
- Be accepted and enrolled as a full-time or part-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
Additional Information
Previous scholarship recipients are welcome to apply; however, applicants are limited to receiving no more than two scholarships per lifetime.
Scholarship Awards
- $2,500 — Full-Time Students
- $1,000 — Part-Time Students
How Applications Are Scored
Applicants are encouraged to review the Scholarship Reviewer Rubric prior to submitting their application. The rubric provides helpful guidance on how submissions are evaluated and can assist applicants in preparing strong, thoughtful responses.
