UPDATES FROM PVA

HONOR A VETERAN THIS VETERANS DAY

A member of the military in a ceremonial uniform salutes in front of a vibrant floral display with American flags. The scene conveys a solemn and respectful tribute.

As Veterans Day approaches, please consider honoring a Veteran by making a donation to PVA. Your support helps us provide life-changing resources and opportunities to paralyzed Veterans. You can also honor Veterans by attending an in-person Veterans Day event near you.

To all the brave men and women who have worn the military uniform to fight for our freedoms, thank you.

pva REACTS TO HISTORIC AIRLINE PENALTY

PVA's CEO, Carl Blake, issued a statement after the U.S. Department of Transportation imposed a historic penalty on American Airlines for its mistreatment of passengers with disabilities who use mobility devices. DOT’s investigation was informed by complaints formally filed by PVA, explaining the #Flightmares that our members face while traveling with a wheelchair.

PVA has been fighting for accessible air travel for years. Learn more about the issue, and why we still need your support to make airplanes accessible for all.

PVA HOSTS Women Veterans Retreat

Two people warmly embrace each other in a room with a table covered by a blue cloth in the background. Both appear joyful, suggesting a reunion or celebration. Other people can be seen standing behind them.

At PVA's Women Veterans Empowerment Retreat this year, 35 women Veterans participated in advocacy and leadership workshops, as well as group activities tailored to address the unique challenges they face.
