Paralyzed Veterans of America’s Fellows Application

Paralyzed Veterans of America is now accepting applications for the 2018 class of Fellows. This program provides paralyzed veterans the opportunity to advocate through Paralyzed Veterans network of public, private and nonprofit organizations. Fellows also serve as leaders among their peers, elevating the nation’s awareness of the contributions and struggles of the 60,000 veterans in the country living with spinal cord dysfunction. The application deadline is November 15, 2017.

1. Please write a short essay (1-2 paragraphs) why you should be considered for the Paralyzed Veterans’ Fellows program. What attributes and skill set make you the best candidate for the 2018 Fellow class? List and explain 2 – 3 goals you would want to accomplish as a Paralyzed Veterans’ Fellow. Please upload (above) and attach your answer as a word document or PDF.

2. The Paralyzed Veterans Fellows will work hand-in-hand with development and communications staff and leadership to cultivate donors and corporate partners through various fundraising events, campaigns and program initiatives. You will engage with major corporate donors and prospects.
