Paralyzed Veterans of America and GOVX have joined forces — and for the communities they both serve, the timing couldn’t be better.
The new partnership connects two organizations with deep roots in American military life. PVA has spent more than 80 years supporting veterans living with spinal cord injuries and diseases, like MS and ALS, helping them gain access to specialized healthcare, benefits support, legal resources, adaptive sports opportunities, and more. GOVX has built a members-only marketplace around the same community — active-duty service members, honorably discharged veterans, law enforcement officers, firefighters, medical workers, military families, and government employees. Now those two missions are working together.
In April, GOVX will once again direct a portion of proceeds from all gear, ticket, and travel purchases made through GOVX.com directly to PVA. Every transaction — whether it’s new boots, a concert ticket, or a weekend trip — becomes a direct investment in the lives of disabled veterans, their families, and caregivers.
The logic behind the partnership is straightforward. The people who shop at GOVX already understand what it means to serve. Many have worn the uniform themselves or spent careers standing alongside those who did. Connecting that community to PVA’s important work creates a giving opportunity that requires no extra effort and carries real weight.
The funds raised will support programs that are immediate and tangible: peer visitor networks that connect newly injured veterans with those who’ve walked the same road, adaptive sports and recreation programs that help restore independence, and federal advocacy efforts that fights for veterans’ healthcare at the policy level.
Service doesn’t end at separation. For disabled veterans, PVA makes sure the country’s commitment to them doesn’t either.
