Over the last eight years, PVA's Women Veterans Empowerment Retreat (WVER), has empowered more than 350 women veterans through immersive leadership development, advocacy training, and holistic wellness programming.
Now, PVA is expanding the Retreat into a year-round engagement initiative. Launching officially on September 26, 2026, the PVA Women Veterans Leadership Alliance (WVLA) is a brand-new year-round initiative designed to connect and support all past and future Retreat participants.

WVLA program includes:
- Quarterly leadership webinars on advocacy, communication, public speaking, and wellness.
- Bi-monthly peer engagement circles for mentorship and networking.
- Leadership tools & resources available through PVA’s Member Portal.
- Annual recognition for WVER alumnae and leadership highlights shared in PVA channels.

WVLA will serve as a community for all past and future WVER participants — a “legacy circle” dedicated to advancing women’s leadership within PVA Chapters and nationally all year round.
