UPDATES FROM PVA
Hundreds of Veterans gathered in New Orleans last week for the National Veterans Wheelchair Games, cosponsored by PVA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. It was an amazing week, full of athletic achievements and camaradierei. Watch the video to see some of our favorite moments!
PVA has on-staff architects who help paralyzed and disabled Veterans design accessible renovations to their home. As industry experts, our team of architects will present an Accessible Kitchens and Bathrooms workshop at a variety of upcoming conferences in Houston, Phoenix, Ft. Lauderdale, and Dallas this fall. Cheers to this amazing team and the work they do to make American homes more wheelchair-accessible.
PVA helps Veterans and their families overcome barriers, whether it's renovating their homes for wheelchair accessibility, helping them get VA benefits, or supporting their children. This year, we awarded six scholarships through our Educational Scholarship Program to help deserving PVA members and their families cover post-secondary education expenses. Congrats to the recipients!
This summer, grab your paddles and your friends and hit the pickleball court. With PVA's Pickleball Palooza, you can host a tournament where all entry fees are donated to PVA. Participants will receive a free PVA hat!
